About
Brice Neilson
Chief Information Officer · Advisory Principal · Author · Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
Brice is a sitting public-safety Chief Information Officer with whole-of-group accountability for the mission-critical platforms used by police, justice and public-safety agencies. His career runs from frontline policing and intelligence leadership through state-disaster command to global technology leadership and a successful company exit.
The single thread is consequence: he has spent two decades in environments where a decision is measured in lives, evidence and public trust — and has learned to move organisations at pace without trading away the governance that keeps them accountable.
Today he leads technology, AI and assurance strategy across PROTECTED government workloads, advises regulated organisations through BAI Projects, and writes on the psychology and leadership of high-consequence work.
